Help The Homeless This Winter By Donating a minimum of Rs. 10

Most of us associate winter with cuddling under a warm blanket, lying in our comfort zone, and sipping coffee by the fire. But for those living on the streets, every drop in temperature means a fight for survival.

What are we doing about it?

Winters are difficult. With temperatures continuing to fall and the wind chilling, survival becomes especially difficult for the poor and homeless. Hundreds of people are victims of this phenomenon each year. Winter’s bitterness affects the vast majority of the population in ways unimaginable from the comforts of our living rooms.

Kalpaka takes up the challenge of providing help for all these helpless people during the harsh winters.

Kalpaka’s winter project to help the homeless aims to reach out to underprivileged people to ensure that everyone is well protected from the harsh winter.

Donating a minimum of Rs. 10 or blankets to the needy this winter will benefit them and save lives.

What are we doing about it?

In our country, approximately 21.92% of the population lives in poverty. We want to help everyone, but we are currently starting in Karnataka. Our goal is to help the needy wherever and whenever possible.

According to surveys conducted in Karnataka, up to 11,615 people are homeless. However, this figure needs to be more accurate because the surveys were only shown in 153 of the state’s 277 urban local governments.

That is why the entire concept of Kalpaka is to aid those by providing the most necessities this winter – Blankets.

Project Plan

Winter has already arrived. Your contributions could help a shivering child, an older woman, or a man in your neighborhood.

Our first and most crucial step will be to reach individuals and families who do not have shelters, are homeless, sleep on the footpath on cement bags and torn sheets, and who are most likely to endanger their lives this winter.

Kalpaka can purchase a blanket to provide warmth to those in need. To make your donation process as easy as possible, we’ve provided you with our office address below to send your blanket donations directly.

Our address is No. 98/2, 2nd Floor, SC Complex, Surabhi Nagar West, 8th Phase, J. P. Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560076.
